Re: Jeep Offroad Modification

i got my spacers of ebay and you really only need 1/8" spacers to clear the front calipers u dont need them in the rear if you get thin spacers 1/8-1/4" you wont need to do the pinch weld

With the wheels you need a spacer. Stock rims you shouldn't need a spacer. But rubi moabs look sexy on wk

Re: Jeep Offroad Modification

Will the BFG MT's destroy my Milage? Also, are those spacers safe? Ive heard only hub centric spacers are safe.

Re: Jeep Offroad Modification

Bigger wider aggressive tires will hurt mpg. IMO unless your mudding - key word there, alot the MT's really aren't worth it...maybe for looks lol.

That thin of a spacer you should be fine. Make sure that you get your tires/wheels balanced and full alignment once you get the lift in.

Re: Jeep Offroad Modification

So Ive decided to go with the Hybrid Duratac by Goodyear. Im going with 245.75.17s because it is mostly a daily driver. OME Kit is on the way, and calipers are painted! Now, just to get the interior detailed, and maybe an Okole Seat Cover kit in the future

Re: Jeep Offroad Modification

i think 255/70/17 would be a better choice imo...

Re: Jeep Offroad Modification

Theres just not a tire i am interested in in that size. Will that tire fit with little to no rubbing with an OME kit? Stock?

Re: Jeep Offroad Modification

I'm running the Duratracs in 245/75 on the stock wheels and an OME HD lift. While they will fit without spacers, I was not happy with the ~ 1/4 inch clearance at the bolt. Added 3/8th spacers, and it's all good. Only have a small amount of rub on the frame at full lock nine
