Jeep Service

Here is a dated clip about some Jeep service areas. It probably still holds true today..............

Re: Jeep Service

Topat46, THANKS SO MUCH for posting this. Hopefully it'll help others to be more aware of the potential dangers and pitfalls involved with both the purchase and repair of any vehicle.

Just one of many reasons I never take either of my Chrysler products to the stealer.....and I've never, ever had a problem with either one. What a rip, and it's not just Chrysler either, it's all of them. Pretty sad!! Imagine how much this costs the non gearheads and/or non forum members that don't have access to more knowledgeable information.

Scary thought though...I will probably reluctantly take my LX in for the driver's air bag inflator recall. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with above and beyond the inflator. Never had N23/P73 done on the WK and have never had a problem of any kind.

Re: Jeep Service

Once out of warranty, the stealer never saw mine. A shop across the street specializes in modding Jeeps, does better work for less, installs parts I buy, and does it while I wait. I've gotten prices from local stealers for OEM parts, then bought the exact same ones online for half the amount, from an online Jeep dealer's parts Dept. When I asked the parts manager at my Jeep dealer why they markup the parts so much, the reply was that's how it is at all dealers.
