jeep wk brembo brake upgrade-HELP!!!

i was looking through ebay and found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/6-x-J...ht_5775wt_1167
i wanted to know if on a 2008 laredo you can just install this with the factory rep 22"inch rims when they come out in the spring or just get them on the standard wheels. All i'm looking for is the look of the red brembo i could care less about a brake upgrade.
PLEASE HELP!!

Re: jeep wk brembo brake upgrade-HELP!!!

measure your calipers and then compare them to the measurements on the auctions.

IMO....get the real things. I have a thread on the parts needed

can you get me that link to the thread you have and also do they really make a huge difference like what's the pros to having them other than the awesome look with a black rim? thanks man

Re: jeep wk brembo brake upgrade-HELP!!!

they make a huge difference....even my wife noticed. Stopping distance is less, less fade in spirited driving, looks.

you need the

SRT sprindles(some call them knuckles)
srt brembos and rotors
all four srt brake lines
all associated nuts/bolts
rear adapter plates

Re: jeep wk brembo brake upgrade-HELP!!!

i appreciate the help! and how much we talking here for all that around? i'm thinking i would definetly like doing that but for 3,000 i can't afford it right now i rather just get teh brembo look without the actual brakes so when i get the 22 inch factory srt8 reps in the spring it will look sick...idk?

I had maybe 1500 in mine and that was with rebuilding and custom coating the calipers

Re: jeep wk brembo brake upgrade-HELP!!!

if its just for looks, go for it. i was considering this a while ago. but instead of having the brembo logo, i would paint over it with a "Jeep" one.

Re: jeep wk brembo brake upgrade-HELP!!!

not to steal this thread, but I am in need of new breaks as well. I dont want to do the whole brembo conversion, so where should I buy these new breaks online. What brands are good for my 2005 WK. How much would the average shop charge to get these done?

thanks

just regular brake replacement? get wagner rotors and wagner thermoquiet ceramic pads. a shop would probably charge bout an hour labor for it.
