Talking JGC Altitude - Gap above tire in wheel well

I'm looking at a 2015 Black/Black JGC Altitude 4x2. The gap in the wheel well above the rear tires appears very large. It looks awkward. When I asked the dealer, they indicated that the suspension is the same as the other JGC's. They say the space could be larger because the Altitude weighs less than the Overland, Summit, etc... Love the truck, but the space is a deal breaker. Anyone have any insight?

This would be a vehicle without the air suspension?

You could always see if J. C. Whitney offers fender skirts...
