Thumbs up Just Ordered-AFE Stage 2 Pro Dry S

I was looking for AFE for my JGC 5.7 for a while and price range was from $245 to $279 and etc. I found it for $229 + Free S&H with coupon code "EBUNNY" on this wesite https://www.ajusa.com .

I "think" this is good deal, if someone is looking for AFE.

Re: Just Ordered-AFE Stage 2 Pro Dry S

Installed mine yesterday. I like it! I have an 08 Overland and I had to remove the coolant bottle, install the top cover for the AFE, bend the corner tab of the AFE top and reinstall the coolant bottle. Wouldn't fit without doing this. Other than that, it was 20 mins to install. i also removed the bracket the holds that intake resonator just under the throttle body since it wasn't needed.

Enjoy

I installed mine last week. i just bent the corner of the aFe box to fit under the coolant tank and it works great. I love mine.

Re: Just Ordered-AFE Stage 2 Pro Dry S

I installed an aFe a couple weeks ago and love it. Like akabigo I removed the resonator bracket but for me it was because it was pushing into the aFe throttle body reducer. It's interesting how our engine compartments all seem to have different tolerances requiring slight mechanical tweaks. I've learned so much from all the jeepgarage.org members, thanks guys.

Yes a little, but the sound is awesome. You'll have trouble taking your foot out of the gas.

Honestly I wouldn't expect anything. Some say they see an increase but I think it's mainly them wanting to see an increase. Just enjoy the added engine sound and good looks under the hood.

I am in agreement with Seminole-3, I didn't see an increase in mpg's and wasn't expecting one either. What I do like is the look and the sound (when asked for) and the knowledge that I have something of quality under the hood that I put there.

Well when making a conscious effort to drive conservatively, you can get better mpg's then before, but that's not too easy lol. I love the sound it makes when romping on the gas, my mpg's if anything have gone down to be honest.

Re: Just Ordered-AFE Stage 2 Pro Dry S

HWY mpg increased with my AFE stage II. I drove 300 hwy miles yeserday and averaged over 20 mpg doing 65 +. I used to get 18.5 the first 2 years after I bought it new with the stock intake. City mpg is probably worse that before though from hitting the loud pedal more often !

Re: Just Ordered-AFE Stage 2 Pro Dry S

Yeah... might not happen. I had 13.1 then am now chilling at 12.2 for city. the most noticeable mpg improvements would be during highway driving.
