what do you mean by middle cubby? the cubby on the left side of the steering wheel next to the door? or the cubby in the middle of the center console right under the heater controls?

my cb will fit in the cubby under the heater controls, just the back needs to be trimmed and i want to take apart my dash to see whats behind the bezel if anything will restrict it ive had half my cb in there already just need to do some mods i think mine is a little smaller then yours

Matty, that's the same radio I have. I don't think it'll fit in the center. Pretty sure theres a support or something directly behind the cubby. Can't remember exactly what was in the way but pretty sure I explored it before doing mine. If you do manage to squeeze it in there I would definately hook up an external speaker, the sound is gonna be muffled pretty bad stuffed in there.

thats what i was worried about ... i trust your knowledge of the wk more then mine i havent been behind the dash board yet lol, i still have a week before my coax comes in so i have a few days to find a spot im happy with...
