Re: Key fob fix

Is that your only set of Keys? I'm going through the same problem. I just ordered a new Key off eBay with the correct buttons for mine. Mine key wouldn't unlock my Jeep so I could have to unlock it manually through the door and the alarm would go off.

If you have two sets of Keys then you can program it yourself. If not then you would have to get a Dealered Locksmith to program it or just go to the dealership.

It sounds like his issue is wanting to fix a broken key, not reprogram.

I am going to work on my keys because I am sick of standing outside the vehicle pushing the button over and over trying to get it to unlock.

Re: Key fob fix

I know its a GM fob but the concept is the same.

As for losing the actual bracket for the battery you can always try to fabricate a new one or even bring it to a small electronics repair shop and they might be able to do it.
