kickdown adjustment

can the 2010 WK 3.7 V6 transmission kickdown be adjusted?

I would like mine to kickdown from 3rd to 2nd when I want it to take revs to max.

No. You cannot change the downshift points. They are set in a way that keeps the motor in the powerband. However if you want it to down shift you can use the auto stick and do so that way. Just keep in mind tho, the jeep still will not down shift if you tell it too and your over speed for that gear.

Re: kickdown adjustment

I know on some cars it's possible to get the transmission retuned from a performance tuning shop, but I have no idea if it's possible on these.
