I picked the kit up fromt he dealer. It was $600 for the kit and just over $300 for paint (with taxes).

After I wash it this weekend I will get some high res photos up. THanks for the compliments!

It did not include the chrome strip. that set me back another $90. You could skip the chrome, especially if you did not do the lower mesh. I have even see someone do the lower custom mesh without the chrome piece. From what I hear, the side skirts are the same. You will need a plastic rivet gun for the side skirts. I got mine form J4J.

Yeah right!! I am dying for the 22" reps, but I am getting inpatient. I may just go for the 20"s since it is just about cruising weather. I already have the SRT Bilsteins, and SRT sways (both yet to be installed) and am just making the final decision on the springs. I am leaning toward the eibachs.

I am glad to see a few Gen II 4.7 owners coming out of the woodwork. There are not many of us.

I have been very impressed with McNichols customer service. I actually jsut received and email from the today which mentioned that they provide some fabrication work too. They said that includes finishes. They may be able to powder coat these too. I wish I had known that before, as PC would be more durable over the many coats of paint and clear I used.

Re: Latest Mod (in progress) 2008 WK 4.7

I am going this route for my 2008 WK as well. It's in Steel Blue Metalic and Mopar never did this color for my kit so getting primed kit.

How are you and other people dealing with the rear bumper? I think to make it look complete and right the bumper will need to get done. There is a rear bumper srt8 package. Here http://www.justforjeeps.com/srrebupa.html

Issue I have is that I also have your Magnaflow exhaust too and want to keep that. Just wondering with the rear bumper package what would needs to be done to change and make come out the center of the bumper plus costs associated.

I will be getting the front and rear srt8 springs to drop as well.

I already have 20" wheels and tires for mine so good to go there. I want my WK to have the SRT8 look and heading in that directions with these mods.

Appreciate feedback and help on the rear bumber and exhaust situation

Thanks
