I actually purchased all the LED's for the interior of my Jeep and have had no problems with them and they've been in for about 5 months now. I bought the 5 LED bulbs in cool white and they are plenty bright for me. They are fair price and from my experience, I find them to be good quality.

thanks just thought id check with you guys first, can you tell me if the 3157 are nice n bright, and im not sure how they would look in the oem projector hids, would it be amber enough during the day to look legal

you will need a resistor for the 3157 no matter where you buy them. 3 ohm for most years. also for the bulbs get the brightest one they have.

an alternative are the SWITCHBACK LEDs vleds.com sells them.
they have 2 options. both are WHITE LED when the park light is on but they go amber when they blink.

they further have 2 types of those; when blinks amber/white the other blinks amber/off like the stock ones.

for a DOT bulb you COULD TRY the silverstar 3157. not an LED but they give off a bluish tint when off but light amber. any auto parts sells those.

thanks rob,how do you install the resistor and whats the purpose of it?

since LED draw a LOT less juice the resistor TRICKS the circiut itno thinking the draw is the same as the OEM bulb or else the blink will not work. the resistor is about 1/2 inch square and 2-3 inches long. it has to go out of the way as it gets very HOT. the wires just go across the circiut for the blink. one to the blink wire other to ground wire. lots of threads about that. mine are screwed into the fender sides near the grounds.
