Thanks. Anywhere in particular I can pick that liquid wrench up at? Any auto store? Autozone, napa? I also wish I went with a limited mostly just to have the RER myGIG. And a tow hitch and bezel. Its too pricey to install aftermarket touchscreen nav and Bluetooth and whatnot. Im perfectly cool with the aux port and no Bluetooth and nav though. I have a tomtom. So odd my 4.7L has tow/haul button on the dash but no hitch or cutout bumper. Wish I had one. Also, don't wanna pay to install and cut bumper.

I normally go to a pep boys, but I'm sure you can find it in Autozone if that's closer. I was also thinking about the climate control I'm adjusting the heat every ten minutes. In hindsight I may have even stepped up to the 4.7 which isn't really terrible on gas I'm told.
When Davy did his bumper he showed pictures of where the bolts are, and I changed mine in a half hour. I also saw where the diagram for the cut is on the bumper. It looks pretty simple I think you could do it.

Sounds like me! I recently had my electronic shift module replaced and my WK s sitting at the dealership as we speak getting the lead frame assembly (which contains the input sensor) replaced! Thank goodness, it's covered by warranty!! Brightside is that I'm getting a trans fluid and filter change out of the deal at no charge too, because they have to drop it, to access everything.

Re: Looking at 2006 cherokees

OK so we found a common issue on the v-6 nag1 combo I did mine last year. It took a couple of hours, six quarts, lead frame. and new connector.

Re: Looking at 2006 cherokees

Installing a factory nav is pretty easy, the bezel just pulls straight out and there are 4 screws for the radio... you will need to get the bezel in the correct color and the nav unit from a used jeep, magnum, charger.. they are interchangable... and buy the gps antenna kit, kit is less than hundred bucks at the dealer.. installs under the dash thru the open radio hole, pretty easy.... the factory nav and bezel can be had for less than 500 if you shop around...

the gps itself works although the joy stick is a pain... but you get a big screen versus the smaller aftermarket screens, might not matter to you but it does for my old eyes

and you keep the steering wheel controls... which i REALLY like

my .06

How much did the lead frame and connector run you?

Re: Looking at 2006 cherokees

I'd like to say 200 something for the lead frame, I think thirty bucks for the connector, and I forgot how much the filter was. I just moved ,and I'm in the middle of my living room with boxes around me taking a break. I don't know where the receipt is right now I'll try to find it for you.
