Ive been looking for a pair of the OEM HID headlights for months now, anyone know where I can find them? I have an 09 so no mods are needed. Im aware of the national backorder, I tried several orders through Mopar and my local dealers and I've checked eBay. Any ideas?
then you can order from your dealer, they are $729 for the passenger side and $590 for the drivers side and that does not include bulbs. most of the used sets have broken tabs because the junkyards do not take time to remove them properly, you can repair them easily.
you can buy a junk headlight from ebay or a junkyard and use those tabs, or use the tabs from your current headlight. just need some plastic weld to make them stick
for top left (after I bolted the 2 good mounts) I used a zip tie to snug what was left of the tab to the frame, which also got rid of any left over wobble the light had from only being secured in 2 points.
I had to modify the top right tab since the mounting hole did not line up to my frame support - easy fix just drilled a new hole on the tab and used a plastic push pin (the ones that hold our tails in) to secure the tab to the frame.
guess the 2007 headlight tabs are different than 2008+
LOL...MIke....thats the alignment tab on the headlamp. You "stick" your screwdriver through that hole to align the beams. Notice it has a number on it....
Scottina06 has a place that he checks reguarly... or he did ... and that is where he grabs some of his OEM HID's. I do not remember the site, but you can pm him and find out.
