I noticed this problem in my 06 WK. I notice it when back up/down my driveway. Once I go up the street curb on to the driveway and the weight of the car shifts, I hear a knocking noise coming from both sides of the rear. It doesn't really sound metallic in nature, but more friction/rubbery rubbing against each other. Almost sounds like it is coming from both rear doors (in that area) or around the back seat somewhere.
I'm assuming it has to do with the rear suspension. I also notice it when going over railroad tracks while turning. Anything that make the body shift a lot of weight going over bumps at angles.
Anyone figure out what it is?
