And to elaborate more. The rwd wk is equipped with the C213R it is a corporate 213mm rear. Open diff, equipped with a 3.07 or a 3.55 ratio. Depending on the 4x4 system equipped, it could have a C213RE, the electronic lsd. They (in the wk) came with 3.55 or 3.73 depending ont trim level and 4x4 equipped. The only wk equipped with the dana 44 is the srt. Its a 8.75inch ring gear. (8.25 on the corporate) its an open diff. The srt is geared with a 3.21 ratio. The corporate rear end is a carry over from the wj.

I thought the srt is geared with 3.73 ? Specs of wk jeeps

Differential Type 4: Dana 44 (226RBI)

Availability: Standard with 6.1-liter engine (SRT8 only)

Ring Gear Diameter: 8.9" (226mm)

Axle Ratio: 3.73:1

Your right, I was thinking for some odd reason when I posted of the other srt8's. They are geared with 3.21

wishful thinking, we might actually get 17 or 18 mpg and have an rpm of 2000 at 70 instead of 2500 rpm and 15mpg
