Lugnut issues

I just installed a set of Moab rims on my 05 WK along with 2 inch spacers. The spacers mounted great but when I mount the new rims the lugnuts look as if they are too small for the hole in the rim. Are there special lug nuts for the Moab rims ?

Re: Lugnut issues

As far as I know they aren't special nuts, but could you take a picture of them just in case?

It looks like Discount Tire sells Moabs, so you might check with them.
Not unusual to need different lugnuts with aftermarket rims, due to a slight difference in taper, seating, etc.

Some online sellers appear to recommend a specific Gorilla, but your model isn't mentioned so take that with a grain of salt.

If you bought them new, the seller should know if you need new lugnuts.

On an 05, if you haven't gotten rid of the crappy multipiece factory lugs, I'd go solid aftermarket on them anyway... hopefully there is a Discount Tire in your area...
