Re: manual shifting

Never... only time I did was the first day I bought it and when I had to constantly shift gears when going up/down Pikes Peak.

It only makes me miss driving a REAL standard, lol.

Re: manual shifting

Only time I ever use, like Matt said, is going up/down mountain passes.

Re: manual shifting

Yeah I do very often, I even have the "blipping" of the throttle down pat to make it sound like I'm heel/toeing a "standard" as you guys call them

yeah it does, mainly because you are letting the RPMs get alot higher.

i use mine often, mainly for passing, because bumping it down will react faster then slamming the throttle. stock tune of the tranny sucks!

Re: manual shifting

I do it all day every day. When I am in the city/town it in 3rd or 4th...mostly 4th. On the highway is on "D". The only time I really put it in 1st or 2nd is if I need to slow down fast or hit a tight turn.

Re: manual shifting

Of course I do ... every time I feel like enjoying myself a bit. Particularly fun when you set the rev limit to 6000 Rpm
