Re: **** me.... help!!!!

thats weird, cause if you have a 200 inverter then just running that 12.5 volts shouldve been enough since that would only distribute 9.something amps and correlates to 120 watts roughly.

did the cord get wet somehow? is it an industrial power extension cord? was the cars engine on?

edit- was anythign else plugged into the inverter when it happened?

Re: **** me.... help!!!!

well the hair dryer alone used up 120 of the inverters 200 total watts- if** there was anything else plugged in at the same time, it prolly overloaded your inverter. i couldve sworn there was a fail/safety applied to this outlet in the jeep. i read it somewhere on jeepgarage too. maybe a search for it bro.

just typing out loud-

gl with it though bro.

Ohh, gotcha. Find a friend that has a house you can do it at. Or find a publicly located socket

Yeah, Autozone will have all of those fuses.

Did you check to see which ones were blown?

Re: **** me.... help!!!!

Mmk. For the record...

If anyone plugs anything into the cigarette lighter on the passenger side or the "power outlet" plug on the passenger side and you short it...

Interior fuse under the steering wheel, fuses 9 and 14. 20 watt yellow in color

Nice! I need/want to polish mine before the summer. Maybe I'll tackle that soon.
