Mopar Oil Filter Number needed

Anyone know the part # for an oil filter for the Hemi engine in 2005 model?

Here's for the 2011 Hemi: 4884899AB. But, do you really need to use a Mopar filter? They're just rebadged something else, and won't do a better job than the other better filters from the usual suspects.

Here you go:

2005-2007 4.7L 5.7L 6.1L V8 p/n 05281090

2008-2011 p/n 04884899AB*

*Note: 2008-2011 models of the 4.7, 5.7 and 6.1L engines use oil filters with a new thread size (22mm). The previous oil filter (p/n 5281090, thread size 3/4-inch - 16 UNF) will not fit on these 2008 engines.

Re: Mopar Oil Filter Number needed

Thanks for the replies and thank you J13ntv. The reason I was wondering about the Mopar is I can get a case of them on Ebay for about $3/piece so it's a steal. I use Royal Purple filters now and they are about $20 w/shipping. So I can save some big money. Also the Mopar filters are supposed to be really good.

Re: Mopar Oil Filter Number needed

This is the best thread we have on oil filters.. mentions Mopar et al: http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...ght=oil+filter

Mopar filters are great but I still tend to go down the K/N route.

Re: Mopar Oil Filter Number needed

Yes that's the thread I had read before about the Mopar filters. At $3.33/piece X 12 I couldn't pass up getting the case of them. Thanks to all who helped me it is appreciated.
