Blacking out tha 2005 laredo

Ok,

I have read through most all the latest threads looking for some ideas and part numbers. I have decided to go with stock srt shocks/ struts and i am thinking about going with bwoody springs? Will i need to mod anything or does the kit come with the proper bumpstops? How much will that lower me? i want to also replace the stock sway bars all around...any reccomendations/part numbers? Also i am looking to get the srt front grill insert. What part number is that, also will the srt bottom grill insert fit a wk 2005 stock bumper cover? I like the led tails but im gonna murder her out so any reccomendations on smoke led tails or am i going to have to get red led tails and have them tinted? While im talking about lighting...what is my best bet for halos and hid headlights/ fogs? i like the pure white light so what hid kit will i need? i will update as i go as well as include pictures...if anyone can gimme some part numbers and heads up on good deals and any parts im gonna need to transform the beast as listed above, i would greatly appreciate it!

Re: Murderin tha 2005 laredo

welcome Slim that's a hefty long list ... sorry to sound like an a-hole but have you check the two top searched threads here on JG?

1) The complete suspension thread by Scottina06

http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...ete+suspension

2) SRT conversion parts by Scottina06

http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...srt+conversion

those two will pretty much answer all your questions

about tinting tails there's a vendor here Daniel in the vendor section who does all that kind of work.

halos and fogs there's a group buy going around ...

please go ahead and search the forum for all this info it's all around here

anything else feel free to ask

Re: Murderin tha 2005 laredo

bwoody has two different types of setups

bwoody version 1 - that will lower the rear by 3 and front by 2.5 and comes with bumpstops they don't make em anymore so u have to buy them off someone else

bwoody version 2 - they are stiffer in the rear so no bottoming out issues have not seen any measurements thus far

as far as rims go

SRT replicas will fit with no problems

however the SRT10 some people have needed to use spacers

Re: Murderin tha 2005 laredo

Hahaha, I did see the suspension link (very helpful by the way)...Im gonna go with the srt bilstein shocks/struts and some bwoody springs.of course im gonna tighten it up with the sway bars/links.again , theres enough information out there to completly boggle my mind with these. And for the shoes im thinking about the black 20 srt rep rims.I have been endlessly reading into options for all my lighting needs. If I get headlights painted, do I need the covers Ben is selling?

For your headlights, I am sure it is easy to bake and pry open since they are Pre-2008.

Re: Murderin tha 2005 laredo

^ Who is standing with you in your pic Father Paul?

IMO I would not get the covers if I was going to paint my headlights...I bought the covers because I am scared to bake my headlights open since I have read bad stories on the 08+ HL's

With all those suspension mods your Jeep will ride like a SRT...keep us posted!
