So I'm going to make this my project thread. 1 thing about me & cars is that once I'm set on something, I usually go all the way in unless I absolutely can't do it. There's also a benefit to not having children & having a wife who is okay with what I'm doing. ;)

I've done a few things to my Jeep since April. I started my project (by accident) then when I was doing some general maintenance & I ended up spending 4 hours cleaning the rig up & imagining it being something better than now. So there it began. I take pics of everything I do too. 1st thing is the rig has a K&N filter already. I upgraded my tire size from 235 to 245's late last year. I wanted my tires to have abit more meat on them, but not too much. Fits perfectly.

With my intake system, until I'm able to buy a performance set-up, I went ahead & removed any restrictions to airflow & cleaned up my throttle body entrance really good with some C&R t-body/intake cleaner. The removal of that definitely helped my MPG go up some, about 1.5mpg better overall & acceleration got better.
I'm going to go with the Injen PF Series Power-Flow Air Intake set-up. It has great reviews. With my exhaust, since there are no headers & I gotta keep the cat for emissions, I'm going with a high-flow exhaust from Thrush Performance. For tuning, I'll probably just buy a SuperChips Flashpaq. Next year I'm going to do a port/polish on the throttle body/exhaust manifolds for extra flow & the power it grants. Any little bit is worth it. I don't have to do it all, it's more of the fact that I would want to & not many guys do that for their Jeep's. More info to come with pics.:D
