I'd like to welcome the jeep fam to my build thread. Completely new to forums and Jeeps but here goes nothing! Thanks for joining me and thanks to those that have helped me thus far in other threads.
Just got my GC home from the dealer. Bone stock Laredo 4x4.
Plastidip session
Wheels, emblems, trim, rocker, front bumber, air dam. All that grey stuff is now flat black.
Did some stripes with grey and red. (Going to measure it up and get vinyl cut.)
Next is the K&N cold air intake.
Next to install is my 20" overland wheels. They will be getting powder coated flat black (just found a hook up on powder coat )
Nitto terra grapplers most likely the rubber of choice.
Nice! I'll def need an exhaust come spring. I Was looking underneath yesterday for other reasons and saw my muffler had a few leaks. Easy to tell in the cold lol. And I'll def get a custom tune after. How much increase in power have you seen?

Well stock our wk's will put down between 168 to 175 at the wheels, thats gear/tire size dependent as well. But we expect about 17 to 20% loss thru the trans. Based on my 1/8th mile times and what i can get up in top end im between 240 to 260 rwhp. Biggest gains came from the tuner and headers for a combined peak gain close to 50rwhp. Hp max energy claims 26hp and the jba's have been tested to show a 25 hp gain.
Nothing major. Got a check engine for not having the cats and for a bad o2 but other then that no. Had to replace the tb but that was my fault tho. Oh and the header on the drivers side just ever so slightly kisses the steering shaft but thas really about it. I can only hear it on deceleration when i let off. The way the motor torques, pulls it away from it and it doesn't touch at idle. Ill be looking into solid motor mounts to remedy that one!
