After my wife and I bought a 2012 Compass a year and a half ago, all I wanted to do was have another Jeep. After patiently waiting, not bugging her at all about it :slapfight: and selling the car that was passed from her to me...

I now am the proud owner of a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee! Nothing super fancy, but loving it. 3.7L, looks like QTI, stock 245/65/17s, though it really seems like the jeep is sitting up higher than stock. Is it possible that there is a small lift? If so, I'd like to throw slight bigger tires on, maybe even get my hands on some pull-off Rubicon wheels if they're the same spacing.

Anyways, I'm pumped! And she came with a free Eagles CD. BONUS.

those tires look tiny on that, they are not the 235s?

Hard to tell by the pictures but I concur, there may be a bit of a lift on that. None of the budget lifts really show their colors until you put some bigger tires on em.

Cool thanks 2005. Yeah those are are 245s. Granted, the angle I took the picture at exaggerated it a little, but there definitely is plenty of space.

Your jeep looks great! What setup did you go with? Love the wrangler wheels on there, did those fit right on?

Was my jeep, I let it go about 4-5 months ago...

Thank you, and I didn't say it before but congrats on the new rig, I LOVED mine and miss it dearly.

I just went with the daystar lift with bilstein shocks and struts (LOVED those)... Not what I would choose if I had the money to do it over again. It drove fine and I had no issues with it but its the smallest of the lifts for the WK.

The wrangler wheels did bolt up, they do rub the front caliper bracket, so you have to grind it down some. Don't be afraid of what I just said, you don't need to take a lot of meat off, more or less just smooth out the casting marks and you're set.

Thanks for all the info 2005! Inspected it a little more and I think it's a little spacer lift, maybe 2". Going to check into all of this.

Bandit that looks killer! Are those the stock BFG Mud Terrains that come on the Rubicons? How was the fit, any shaving down? Any other issues? I'd love to see some more pics! Awesome.

Me and a mechanic worked on it at a Chevy dealer. We started at 5 and finished at 1am. I guess we we're am aerators. I have more pics. If you request them I will take them. Angles views what now,

No trimming was done and the ride is just like before. The tires are stock. Bfg mt at
Sometimes it hits the pinch weld plastic but that is only because the pins are loose

A 7-year old Jeep is just getting broken in! Enjoy the next decade in your "new" Grand Cherokee!
