Well here it is, finally 6 hours later complete. The First 2014, let alone WK2 I have ever done. Scott's 2014 SRT "Bloodied Edition"

Wow! Can you do mine? I'm gonna frame it when you are done and hang it in my home office. Can you do the same kinda red calipers you did on Scott's b/c I will be getting brembo calipers? Just solid rotors is fine.

Do you have a post office where you are bro? Maybe if you get a chance you could mail me the finished drawing? I will pay for shipping.

You don't trace it right? Is it completely freehand? Otherwise I would have to scale the pic a little differently.

all free hand bro. otherwise it wouldn't have taken 6hrs to do scott's. I do a couple of sketches to get the lines right, one more to refine them before I ink it. a trace would only take maybe an hour.

Here's my way of doing the most accurate car drawings by free hand. What I mean by that is I can do within 80% accuracy to a picture.

The first steps involved are to get a decent sketch going while comparing it to the picture being used. Then I continually refine the lines getting it very close to the picture. Once I am happy with the lines, I go over the whole thing in ink to make the lines stand out.

Now this part is the only part I do any tracing. I take the ink'd sketch and a fresh sheet of paper and Transfer the good sketch onto a clean sheet. done in pencil first as well then inked again. (pencil because I can correct any mistakes while transferring) When I ink the final I clean up any pencil marks left, I don't press hard for this. if I did you would see pencil lines in the final. This is also when I do any last minute details before coloring.

The coloring is actually the shortest step to this process. I uses the lightest color on the body first and build into darker and heavier layers. finally I use an eraser to smoothen out the color and to blend them better. also use it to ad highlights to the color. I used 2 different shades of red in scott's drawing. Red orange as shown on the brakes (its the closest color to brembo red) and Red.

Your wheels tho wow! They turn out really really nice. Any tips for that?
