Well I got 124.5k on mine already. I don't want to push it too hard on mine.

My buddy just sold his 2000 WJ 4.7L with 262k miles on it to another friend and got himself a 99 WJ 4.7 with 92k as a replacement. He runs his hard.

I wouldn't worry about 124k, still got a lot of life left.

Re: My Wk is getting OLD. sad face

Oh and my buddy who had the 262k mile WJ had all original drive train (diffs, t/c and trans original), but the engine gaskets had to be replaced, radiator replaced, new water pump, new alternator.

Re: My Wk is getting OLD. sad face

I just replaced the Waterpump and changed the Spark Plugs. Feels better with new Spark Plugs. The old ones were the original ones. I replaced those at 121k lol.

Interesting Paul, I guess it has been some time that I have been on here. I have been very busy with work and jump on very fast for any quick updates. Still thinking about that sweet wj you had. What happened with that?

Re: My Wk is getting OLD. sad face

90K here.... some rust presents also, but haven't any mechanical problem. Russian climate is not good for cars (as well as for people LOL). 100F in the summer, -35F in the winter, snow, salt (and more corrosive chemicals also) on roads to prevent ice and so on But WK's body is excellent as compared to Japanese, European and especially Korean cars.

Re: My Wk is getting OLD. sad face

Oh boo hoo. By the time my car get 5 years old, it would already have 150K+ (est) miles on it. Hell, my mom just got her car 12/09 and it already has 28K miles on it

You guys should be lucky to have a low mileage car.... the grass isn't always greener on the other side LOL

Re: My Wk is getting OLD. sad face

Well now that I've stopped laughing at all you boys and your "high mileage" Jeeps, I guess i should start thinking about buying a vehicle!

01' WJ - 190k miles
04' WJ - 90k miles
07' WK - 65k miles
09' GT - 12k miles

At 100k miles, a Jeep is just starting to get broke in, 200k is getting old and once you cross 250k, a replacement ought to be appearing on the radar.

Re: My Wk is getting OLD. sad face

Chaoul changing your OEM plugs at anything over 30K is not excellent maintenance. They need changed every 30K. Also the HEMI should last for quite some time...I wouldn't be too concerned with it's longevity.
