Because the WK has not been on the road very long to find out longevity of it. I know right now, that if i bought a used 1998 Cherokee with the 4.0 and 130k miles on it, i could keep it and maintain it and it would make it another 100k miles.

So far the WK has not been on the road long enough (in my opinion) to have the peace of mind that when it hits 100k miles i am going to get another 100k plus miles out of it.

I personally would not go out and buy a WK with over 100k miles on it and feel confident that it will last another 5 to 10 years or 100k plus miles because it has not had adequate time on the road to prove itself.

Re: My Wk is getting OLD. sad face

As for me, I can care less how many miles get racked up on this thing, with the life time warranty under my belt, I have my peace of mind.

My 07 has 34k and light rust underneath. Bought it used from Colorado.... I usually trade mine in around 100k.... usually a sad/happy day.

Well the 4.0 is an animal n the wk Is fine doesn't matter the body style I'm talkin engine wise the 4.7 is been around a long time so has the hemi so I'm sure by now that chrystler has fixed its issues with those engines I prob think the body would rot around the engine lol
