Re: Navigation help!

I doubt he has OEM Navigation. He's got a Laredo 3.7. Not many people popped for the Navi and not the upgraded motor.

Re: Navigation help!

correct I do not have navi, i have the stock am fm cd player.

i bought the car used recently for work (hey its new to me) because i got transferred, and the old car couldn't make the ride. its a long trip and id like to have navi built in (that plays dvd movies as well). Also, it must have an aux input spot so i can hook up my cell phone to it (i can watch my cable box at home through it). And I want flush looking, not those motorized one that pop out and up. i know lots of demands lol but if I am dropping the money I want to get what I am looking for, even if I have to wait a bit to find it.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Navigation help!

joe, here is my thread. but my laredo had an amp and the ba speakers. so I just used that.

Grey Ghost Stereo Odyssey

you can add an amp into the harness that comes with the nav. speakers, keep stock wiring and it will be connected thru the main harness you'll need.

Re: Navigation help!

OK i bought navi and a backup camera. and the navi bezel. I am a complete idiot so tell me, how hard is it to install these things?

I got the wire harnass/bypass and mounting kit as well. So tell me, is it that hard? Remember I know nothing about cars.

Re: Navigation help!

OK so i got the navi installed. jensen 9324. love it. but one problem. when its in nav mode, it flickers. only in that mode. only if engine is on. if i turn key on but dont start engine, and hit nav, its fine. every other mode is fine. anyone ever heard of this?
