# 2 Toyo Open County AT 255/70/17 $950.00 All Inclusive

We call Wild Country tires "Semi Rounds" try to steer clear of no name brands like that.

Toyos perform great but wear out super fast. i had a set of Toyo ATs that did not last 15k miles.

If you want a Yokohama Tire get the Geolander AT/s, they seem to last a good amount of time and handle well for an AT.

I would look in to the hancook ventus as RH07, we sell alot of those to suv owners and they have good reviews.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Also if you want an AT tire, look in to the Hancook Dynapro ATM rf 10, great reviews and looks great too. We sell tons.

steel clear of Continental tires and General tires (except for the Grabber at 2 its a great AT tire with a 60k mile warranty)

Continental and General are the same company and many tires are identical. They wear really fast and dont perform very well.

The Bridgestone Dueller at revo is a good tire but pricy, and we dont sell many other Bridgestone/Fire stone tires besides the revos. They also tend to wear fast.

Dunlops an Kumhos suck.

If you have the cash and want a good 70k + mile tire, Get the Michelin LTX MS2. Expensive but its a great tire and will last a long time. They last long and perform well. Michelins are well worth the money.

Pirelli makes great performing tires but they only last about 20k miles.

Personally i am getting Hancook Dynapro ATm RF10 tires. Nice beefy AT but 50k mile warranty great reviews and we sell alot of them with no complaints. Or if i have the $$$ i would love to buy a 235/75/17 Michelin LTX MS 2.

Seems like ive ruled out alot but i am going by personal research ive done (i do tons of research when buying tires because its such a big expense) and i learn from what the customers are saying and what i see in the tires when i work on them.
hey have you heard of nitto trail grapplers. i just ordered a set the other day. i payed 1500 for 5 35x12.5r18 tires. they are being made and then shipped. i can cancel the order still, but the research i did said they would be great for what i want.

Re: Need new tires

I know alot about Nitto, They are great tires, (they are owned and manufactured by Toyo tires) The Nitto Terra Grappler is essentially the Toyo Open Country at. The trail grappler is the open country mt.

I have not had a set of the hancooks yet and 555ctsv just got his. They are supposed to be a 50k mile tire.

Re: Need new tires

The hancooks are riding great so far! No more vibrations or shaky steering wheel. My bfg mt's are still in great shape but were just to rough now that I have a longer commute to work. I'll post up some pics this evening. I still haven't had a chance to wash it since it's been raining here

Re: Need new tires

Im not 100% in love with the overall look of the wheels, but the ride is worth it. I prefer the flatter faced front of the stock wheels, but i guess that had to go to get the backspacing i needed to not need spacers. The bfg mts looked great but just not very practical once driving 40 miles a day
