Need some opinions...

So I brought my jeep in to get some paint work done. I have an 08 white limited. I'm getting side rockers, the molding pieces that hold the side roof rails, mud flaps (I know most dont like people dont like them but I figured wth its there get them painted if I don't like them I can always take them off) and a scrape on the lower dam that the previous owner made painted white to match the rest of the jeep. I'm now thinking I should get the license plate holder painted as well to match. What does every one think? Too much white? over kill? or will it finish it off nicely?

Also does anyone know if the srt lower grille will fit on a limited? I thought I heard it won't. But has anyone modified it to fit? I have the overland mesh grill insert with chrome overlay on top will the lower srt mesh match?

Re: Need some opinions...

I think the white would look cool IMO.
I'm not sure what you mean by lower grille... Do you mean mesh? But... yeah the grille mesh on overlands and srt8's are the same...

Re: Need some opinions...

i think you should leave a few pieces in there black just to break it up a little. All white may be a little overkill.

Re: Need some opinions...

i think it'll look good! much better than the crappy plastic look. As for the lower srt mesh, like Scott said it wont fit, You can buy a mesh and trim it to fit the lower grill and have the overland chrome insert.

Re: Need some opinions...

I'm leaning towards painting it. Then the only black piece would be the rear step pad and the overland mesh insert. I have the overland chrome valance for the bottom like yours Davy27. I'm trying to go for a nice balance of chrome pieces along with white for a clean look. I know I can get some mesh and trim it, but I want it to match the overland insert.

Re: Need some opinions...

Well just heard back from my paint guy. Said he doesn't want to mess with taking the side rockers off because the tabs will break off. So I guess now I'll have to find alternative rockers or maybe even some type of side step. I'm thinking my options are srt8 side rockers, molded running boards, or the body kit. So basically its gonna be more $ to do something with the side rockers than expected. Any thoughts?
