I have a 2007 grand ltd, I want to know if there is anyway to reprogram the auto start to activate the rear defroster&heat on high when its freezing outside. My 2008 grand ltd has this option?

Re: new guy has question

you can leave the heater on when you shut the jeep off and it should come back in with remote start... seat and rear defoger will need reactivating on re start

yea the heat left on will do the trick but in the 2008 it goes auto defrost and the rear defroster does not stay on (just checking if there was a reprogram like (the auto down in reverse side mirriors)

5.7Unlimited is just really nice
Re: new guy has question

I've wired my heated heated seats to turn on when I remote start my Jeep, It's a pretty involved process though. Just leave your heat on bro.

Re: new guy has question

You can do it, but its a def job!

I remember reading a thread back in the day about a guy that did it by soldering switches to a pulsed relay or something like that!

Maybe shoot our Lips a PM and see if he would know how to do this...He is good with all electrical stuff and might be able to help you out!
