Re: New Member

Got a better look at the front suspension and the side hit by the bike is tilted in at the top an extra 2 degrees compared to the other side. There is also hardly any room between the upper wishbone ball joint and the tyre compared to the other side. So looks like I have a bent knuckle and will need to replace it. Are these cast steel or aluminium?
Guess there are knuckles going cheap from those that have switched to the SRT ones like you hey Scott?

Any idea how much one would weigh? Be pretty hard to find one here I would say.

Re: New Member

Thanks Scott, that would be great.
Been doing more measurements and looks like the two frames are within 3/4" of each other. Hoping to drop the whole front cross member arrangement with the engine, steering, swaybar and diff mounts as one and fit it up like that inside the Willys frame.
Only problem I see so far the the Willys grille is around 6" further back when comparing where the radiator will sit. There is a bit of room to move the radiator closer to the front of the engine so hoping I can still fit it in.
Would still have to make upper wishbone mounts and strut towers. Hardest part is knowing exactly how much clearance I need above the upper wishbone from rest so that it does not hit the underside of the Willys guard at full compression. Anyone know how up travel there is?
