New tires!!!

Just got the call from my local tire shop and my Firestone Destination A/Ts have arrived. Going to get them installed this afternoon. (before and after pics will be posted later)

I went with these tires cuz you all highly recommend them, and I've seen nothing but good reviews for them.

Went with the 255/70R17 for a stock height 07 Overland. Woot!

Can't wait!!!

Re: New tires!!!

You are definately gonna like the new look with the stuffed look... did you find my thread useful in determining the size along with my before and after pics? If you did that is great!

Yea I sure did and you helped me tremendously and I thank you for that! Can't wait to have these bad boys. Have you gone off road at all?? I know you said you didn't have any rubbing issues, but I wasn't sure if you took her for a dirt run or not

Re: New tires!!!

I haven't yet. But with all the city and highway driving that I have done so far has yet to bring in a rubbing issue. It might be a problem while offroading, but then again there could also be none at all... just gonna have to test it out.

Re: New tires!!!

And here they are...my new shoes! 255/70R17 Firestone Destination A/Ts

On the street, over bumps, and cruisin parking lots they don't rub at all. TINY lil rub when making complete left u-turn but only for a minor second.

In the dirt, same thing. They didn't rub at all when cruisin around (very light dirt sesh tho...) and I barley climbed anything, but no rubbin.

Def going to get some Bilstein's soon (Holidays are coming up! ) The 3/8" extra height will solve any more rubbing.

Would anyone suggest spacers at all? What size? I'm going to possibly do a 2.5" lift, but not for a while.

Anyways, here are the before and after pics. Not the best I know, but you get it!
