Re: Newbie looking at buying a 2006 Limited tomorrow. Any advice?

I've had my WK from 18k - > 102k so far. It was a prior rental.

I've been religious with maintenance - 30k diff/tcase/60k trans, etc but the vehicle has been ridden hard...

Issues:
In 36k warranty - replaced heated seat module
At about 88k, there was a short in the starter wire, $7 later fixed.
Couple other extremely minor things.

New brakes when I purchased it, still running on the same set front and rear.

Good luck on your search. IMO, that price is quite high.
