OK so yesterday I got my cheep multi protocol Bluetooth ODB2. I bought this so i could use it with my 05 and 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It works pretty nice working on getting better software for it. Right now on my pc I can read alot of the general data values. Also on my Andorid phone I can read most of the values. The thing I am looking for is to be able to read advanced data like trans codes, airbag, and other things that you would need a DRB tool for. I know ScanXL will do this for GM cars and trucks, but they don't yet have support for Jeep.
I cant remember the name of what I use, but its a universal program that doesn't really let you adjust stuff, but it shows you real time data of a HUGE amount things from trans temps to engine codes to oil temps, etc
I think its called qwkcheck or quickscan or something, ill look when i get home.
Its a fun tool to have if anyone, without a tuner, wants to check engine parameters of multiple cars, or clear engine codes so your girlfriends old sh1t box can pass emissions
