Off road parks east coast Raush Creek

Hey guys was looking into trying some trails at an offroad park. Since my 09 WK is stock I was wondering if anyone has went to some parks with their trucks stock/slightly modified just to see if it's worth trying it out while I'm still stock or if I'm better off waiting till I get a small lift and better tires on my truck. I was looking into Raush Creek but that's about 4-5 hours away from me as I am in Long Island NY. So if anyone has some insight on other parks and If my vehicle is capable of having a good time please chime in and let me know!! Thanks!

Re: Off road parks east coast Raush Creek

I live in DC and I made the drive out to Flag Pole in Harrisonburg and to be honest the first time up (stock) and it was fun not that bad... I did however rip off my skid plate which made me have to get a new one. So now that I have a 2in RC lift and some 255/70/17 30' tire I feel more comfortable now. With the all terrain tires I slide less in the mud than when I had my SR-a tires. OH yeah I have a 06' 3.7

Hey thanks for the input I appreciate it! Looks like I'll have to start saving for some big tires and the RC lift haha

Rausch Creek is a fun place with a wide variety of trails. On some of the lower rated trails you would be fine with a stock WK with 4X4, check out their web site for breakdown of the trails. If you are new to off roading I recommend their 101 class. Taking it with a stock truck will let see what it can do and talking with the instructor will help with deciding what mods you may want to do.
