Re: Oil Dipstick Not Going In

Have you pulled the oil pan to check it out in there? Since it put a rod through the block there could be a lot going on in there.

I know it fit when the turbo was installed.

There is a hole new shortblock in there with new oil pan the only thing used form that block was the sensors and that tube i bet some thing is stuck inside i will take off and inspect did not think any thing that small could fit in there but i could be wrong that block looked like a grenade went off in it 4 broken rods twisted in half and the hole bottom of the oil pan had chunks of metal even the oil pan was split lol

Re: Oil Dipstick Not Going In

Got any pics of the carnage?

As for that oil dip stick not going in...try to twist it while pushing it in.

Is the engine still apart? If so the dipstick removal wont be to bad. If it's all put back together I feel your pain.

Re: Oil Dipstick Not Going In

The problem was that from the damage from the other bottom end that some foreign object bent the dip stick tubing
