For Christmas I got $75 in gift cards for Cabelas. I had a $30 off CLUB rewards code, and I compounded that with their $20 off anything instant rebate code. I had $13 in CLUB points from card use, and earned $5 back in CLUB points for this purchase. AND SuperChips has a mail-in $25 rebate still going that I should be able to make. So I saved $156.xx.

Granted taxes were $21 and shipping was $19, but still

Hope it is in stock, and if it's not thats fine too... It will be sometime.

Excited!

What are the details with the "advanced trans tune" I hear about occasionally? I'm sure it is an extra purchase through SuperChips but I only tow heavy weight twice a year, is it worth it?

Its a great product. Aside from being a scan tool, data logger, tire size calibrator, trans tuner, and power tuner you get great quality and decent power. I don't expect my vehicle to be a racecar, thats why I have my other vehicle, but the power added compensates well in the MPG department with it being lifted with larger tires. Is it a tremendous gain? No, but well work the cost for what you get. I'd recommend it.

You'll love the tuner, and I would highly recommend you purchase the ATT app. so you can adjust your shift schedules the way you want them. IMO, the stock shift schedules are one of the biggest weaknesses in the way the 545RFE is set up. The ATT app. is downloaded from the internet after you get it in your hands. You can experiment for yourself, or there are plenty of schedules other users have come up with, plus the ones provided by the SC folks.
