Phantom squeal...!

I've got an 05 WK with the 5.7 that has a slight squeal at low RPMs. At first I thought it had something to do with the K&N Intake but I've ruled that out. Just wondered if anyone else has had this sort of issue. It only happens during initial takeoff, mostly during slowed city driving. I haven't noticed performance issues... it mostly just annoys the heck out of me.

Can you pinpoint what area of the vehicle its coming from possibly?

Re: Phantom squeal...!

Just throwing this out there... I have seen (not personally repaired, but seen) an exhaust leak at the manifold cause a whistle on a 5.7l before. iirc it was just the first initial startup and it was fairly pronounced... it was on a durango but a 5.7l none the less.

Re: Phantom squeal...!

Dammit. How the hell do you prevent exhaust leaks. Such a costly repair.
