Re: Plasti Dip ENTIRE WK?

Go with Chrylsers new blue. That way, you have a easy color to match when you order paint if you ever want to color match something.

I don't have the paint code but this is the color.

I used it on my gti wheels, it actually held up great too. 3 cans should do it with some to spare.

Re: Plasti Dip ENTIRE WK?

wonder if you can/what it look like with some clear over top and a nice bake??? This would allow some gloss and protection over it allowing for easier washes/maintenance and still a sweet color change. Like a very cheap/easy Maaco job done in your driveway that could look OEM with some nice clear.

Hmmmm I see some serious potential here. I need to experiment on some other crap first before I touch my Jeep though haha

my concern is: will the clear soak through the plastidip and bond onto the car's clearcoat. it takes major balls to do that to your car, even if its removable.

Re: Plasti Dip ENTIRE WK?

There is a "Clear" plasti dip that might take away some of the matte look and give it a little bit of a glossy look. I'm going to see if I can find some in my city tomorrow and give it a try.

Re: Plasti Dip ENTIRE WK?

I will! Haha and the guy on audi said about 15 cans for his whole car and he did it thick. Id say 15 to 20 would be more then enough to do a WK well. Im gonna get some next paycheck (every friday) and work on it that monday since im off monday through thursday every week.
