Re: Plastic dent front bumper cover repair

I can hardly tell man haha, seems you got lucky w/ this one. I mean if you can fix it obviousley thats the way to go, BUT if not, Id just leave it until you get enough $ to really get what you want (SRT8 bumper cough)

Unless it really looks THAT much worse in person which I doubt??? I really cant see any damage from the 5-10ft away in the pic. But I know some people are anal about that kinda stuff and I dont like a half assed looking ride myself but I just couldn't justify a NEW BUMPER for what I see there lol. My .02

SRT Bumpers: http://www.justforjeeps.com/grchsrpa.html
*check middle of page for bumpers/side skirts

Mopar "Body Kit" - SRT8 side skirts painted to match your color and an OEM lower valence color match to your color. So its hybrid of SRT/NON-SRT parts basically haha but looks sweet.

Re: Plastic dent front bumper cover repair

yeah no SRT8 bodykits for me, if anything I'm going 2" lift with bigger tires. Guess I'll live with the dent for now and try to pop it out best I can. Worst thing that can happen is I make it 10x worse and then I need a new front bumper. No biggie I guess.

Re: Plastic dent front bumper cover repair

steel dents are easy to repair..plastic on the other hand is a bitch! usually u cant get them out 50 percent of the time and then the other times when you can...paint just cracks like scott said..get the srt bumper and lift it!!?!! that would be cool haha

Re: Plastic dent front bumper cover repair

Off topic, but how tough are the 2" lift spacers to put in for a DIYer? I just conquered the 16 plugs in the HEMI and rotors/pads, now I'm looking for more of a challenge.
