power steering vibration when a.c. on

new issue,when i have my air on and im backing up or going to turn the steering it vibrates and shutters and its real hard to turn unless i start to move any ideas?

I have that, but it isn't "Real" hard to turn. I just feel it in the steering wheel.

Me too.. and occasionally I get some p/s pump chirping. I think my pump is going. Isn't the cooling fan in these somehow hooked into the hydraulics? I don't get it, and I'm actually trying to research it now which is how I found this post

Yes the fan is hydraulic and run off of the ps pump.

I'd check to make sure all the pullies are spinning freely and that the AC one isn't dragging when on.

Another problem is that the WK has a very low idle setting and with all of these things working at the same time and going full lock on the steering it will bog the engine.

Best solution if all the above is fine = raise the idle with a tune
