problem with bilsteins

put the bilstein hd's all around about 2wks ago. still notice the floating feeling in the front when on the highway. anyone else with the same prob?

the order of my suspension build:

1. addco sway's front and rear and kept the stock links. huge ride improvement still had alot of the floaty feeling in the front and rear. then i developed clunking sounds from the rear.
2. replaced the end links with the bwoody links. stiffened the ride a hair and got rid of the clunking.
3. still had the floaty feeling so i figured with putting bilsteins on would take care of the rest.....it did partially. the front still feels floaty. i have not taken it to get aligned...so it may be that.

any suggestions?? looking for a little more control.

Get it aligned asap

I had the same thing when I installed the bilsteins hd,s. I went straight to the srt jeep bilsteins.....took care of that. You may want to lookinto a drop spring. I don't know if that's what your going for....but it will help with the floatiness too. Eiback and h&r offer drop springs that aren't extreme. You could also look at the stock srt jeep springs....they would only drop you about an inch or so....

Re: problem with bilsteins

what he said ... springs are one of the main reasons of the floaty feeling but SRT blisteins should help as well

Re: problem with bilsteins

if you dont want too much drop look into the H&R.

I only installed the rears so far but it stiffened it considerably.

I also have bilsteins, addco rear/srt front sways, bwoody WK links.

It dropped the rear 1.4 inches so at the moment my jeep is just about level.

i wont put the front ones in until spring. too much snow.
