Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

Did you ever come up with a solution or different front spoiler?

I seems that most just add the SRT side skirts and 20" wheels only.
You also added the SRT rear bumper and exhaust tips out the center.
Not many change the front bumper to the SRT bumper. Cost? Close enough?

Rear bumper is stock. All I did was cut out the center section. But part of the reason why people don't do the front is cost. Its a 1400$ bumper package. Unless you cheap out and get the duraflex one lol

Gottcha, paint matched SRT side skirts and leave the nonSRT front and rear bumpers.

Is there a problem with the Duraflex bumpers? Price is attractive. Mounting a problem?

It's cheap and I don't know too much on the quality

Well I got numbers for ya lol....

No real tune and full bolt on the jeep put down......

192rwhp and 213rwtq.

But what was impressive was how flat the power band was between 3.5k to 6. Suprised the dyno operator lol as he said it's strong.

This was on a dynocom dyno. They read much like a mustang dyno, so a touch low. However it reads very consistent where as a mustang or dynojet would be everywhere.

And it was hot and humid since it did rain early this morning.

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

Great numbers! Nice flat curves.

Stock 210hp/235tq
- drive train loss 15-17% = 168-175rwhp

You 192rwhp/213rwtq
+ drive train loss 15-17% = 229-230 crank HP

So all the bolt on's added 19-20 rear wheel HP, call it 10% increase.
That's about all that can be expected with bolt on's.

You need nitrous or forced induction!!

Thanks man! Yeah I do plan on boosting it lol. Anyone here can tell you I've been saying that since I popped into the scene here lol. It just takes a full rebuild to do so. No nitrous, don't like what it does to a motor to get the power, plus the need to keep rebuilding the motor sooner or refilling the bottle would get old.

I think on a different dyno or with nicer weather it would have broke 200. I was guessing 200 and was only 7.3 hp off lol. Just need a tune for now.

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

Nah you don't need a rebuild to add boost. 5-6 pounds of SC boost is plenty and will add 30% more rear wheel power with complete reliability. We are doing it on the JK 3.6L engines, same engines.
