It good for what it is, just gotta keep in mind it's not a full cai. None of the aftermarket ones on the 3.7 are true cold airs. Definitely didn't want to go with the k&n because everyone has one and they cost too much for what it is. Also the injin comes with a optional water shield where the other options don't. It's about mid priced too at 275$.

Been on my jeep since late 2011 so must be decent enough lol

Stupid question but, no problem with water in the filter right?

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

I currently run the K&N CAI on my 3.7 and I hate it because the resonator is still in use I wanna get injen to delete the resonator

No issues. Filter sits high enough up that any water exposure is minimal. I don't off-road anymore so that further reduces the chance of water getting to the filter

Go for it. It's still gonna be quiter then the k&n simply because of the material it's made from. Plus the way it s made cancels out excessive noise.

New tail lights on the way and my clear billet tech bottom is shipped as well! Unfortunately after all my bills this week I will be unable to get the wide bands at this time

Here's the news.

I think the motor rebuild may happen sooner then later. Emptied my catch can and.....

She's still running strong and not making any odd noises. I will be stepping up to a heavier oil to slow the bleeding lol.

I also finally got the new clear bottom to my catch can
