I will bring you all up to speed on what I know so that you know what I know.

the past:

back in June I was up north visiting family. while there, my mom noticed some swelling on my neck and said I should get it checked out. I promised I would. so I get back to fort Campbell and when I was able to, setup an appointment.
a couple weeks later I make my appointment. doc's checkin my neck out, feeling around my spit gland and lymph nodes, which are swollen and hard. doc walks out of the room and comes back a few minutes later with 4 other doctors. each one checking my neck out.
so they come to the conclusion I needed to have bloodwork done to see whats up and to come back in a few weeks for a follow up.

Jump into mid July...

I return to my follow up. neck still in the same shape was when I was up north. first blood test came back negative for anything. so he tells me to get more blood pulled so they can check for something else and to setup an appointment for a CT scan. I get both of these done. Again, result came back negative for anything. still no answer as to why my lymph nodes are rock hard and swelled up. so, I set up another appointment. this came a few weeks after getting back from fort knox for training, late august time frame.

flash back to yesterday.

I make that appointment. different doctor this time. SHE tells me she has read my file and talked about the other issue I originally went to go there for, but we think the two issues are linked. she feels my neck, walks out and comes back with an endoscope. hooks up the scope to the machine and runs it up into my sinuses. takes a few still shots of my adenoids (the tonsils of your nose basically, which also apparently grew back from when they where removed in 2013) and they are swollen. pulls the scope out and walks out. comes back in a worried attitude and tells me there is a very high chance that I have lymphoma, a lymphatic cancer. she sets me up for the earliest day to get a biopsy done to see what exactly it is.

no, I'm not dying, it takes far more then that to bring this soldier down. plus I fought off a far more serious issue in my teenage years that literally could have killed me.

so for the time being, I'm gonna assume I do have lymphoma and hope the tests come back negative. so far this is the best explanation as to why my neck is the way it is. the biopsy is scheduled for the 13th and ill keep you guys up to date as I here it.

in other news I got the first of my new rear tires! and I'm planning on hitting the dyno up to see what my tune tweeks have done

Geezus Jeff, that sucks. Whatever it turns out to be I wish you the best!

Im looking into a couple of gimbals fpr my two gopro's. I want that silky smooth video. Anyone remember that video i made a while back with my brothers gokart? The majority of that shakiness could be eliminated with a gimbal and now that i a hero5 black gopro, it can further smoothen out video because the 5 has image stabilization. And ive seen it in action and its a big difference...

So heres a tiny medical update...

Got one of the results back from the 2 samples taken.

Sample "1" benign, normal lymphatic tissue.

This is where there answer gets complicated and got me on edge.

Sample "2" had to be sent to a "more qualified" person to look at it. Someone who deals with what they think i have.

That means they found something. You cant just find one sample normal and the other isnt unless you found something. If both samples are "normal" there would not be a need to send it to an expert.

Like seriously, if ya found something just freakin tell me because i am more then smart enough to fill the blanks. Especially when the answer i got doesnt add up. But its alright. Ill bide my time to see what their "expert" says.

Ill keep ya posted guys.

Pretty impressive what you can do with taking videos today. I'd really love to get a drone... I just don't know if I could master flying one.

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

so...I may have a breakthrough!

I have been looking into upgraded map sensors that we could use in our application for boost. and it would appear that the neon srt4 map would fit into the 3.7 manifold. if this is the case, we would have a 3bar sensor vs our stock .5bar sensor. (which .5 bar only allows like 7 pounds of boost) if this works, it will be crucial for tuning this thing and for it running (timing) properly...

best of all, a stock srt4 map is like 15$ new so it would hurt to try it out...

That looks interesting. Price isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was looking at a Yuneec Typhoon H... it's twice that amount but it comes with a 4K camera and gimbal mount.
