I have a carry permit. I keep a G27 (sub-compact .40 w/armor piercing ammo) in Truck Norris and a G19 (compact 9mm) is usually by my side.

Seems like a real hassle for you to have/carry/use a weapon!

I have really enjoyed reading your build thread! It's given me a lot ideas!! If I only had the $$ to match
im over it now tho bro, got a new set at home for it.
personally I prefer smith&wesson's compact .40 or a .44. that .40 tho is sweet

The springs just need to be cleaned up a little and the bushings are for the srt rear sway bar. Just waiting on jeepfreak to drop it off. The grease guns for the bushings.

How come there are grease fittings on your bushings? I'm guessing they're better than mine, but I don't have grease fittings.... More specifically, what does the grease do(other than the obvious)?

I got greaseable bushings from energy suspension. They are polyurethane bushings. Got marine grade urothane grease so that the bushings dont wear out or that the grease dont wash out. The grease keeps em quiet and prolongs bushing life.

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

Maybe I should have gone that route. Everyone (well a lot) said J4J had everything I needed, so I looked and got what they had. I'm not knocking J4J or anyone. Just think I could have done more research.

Maybe, Jeepstrong, I'll just use your build project AS my research!

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

Yea, I know, but AFTER I installed my sway bar....

How do you find out about this stuff? I read and read the whole perf love thread. Not just the bushings kinda thing, but like performance coils and stuff. MAN, I've got a LOT to learn.

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

I know this question goes back to like page 7/8, but did you end up w/the Bilsteins? If you did, do you like 'em? I thought I remember reading that you did, but that's a lotta reading to go back through!!

At the end of my little "speed curve testing road" (sway bar install thread), there's a light. If you don't catch it green, it's a two minute wait!! Yesterday I caught it yellow. There's a bump in the crossing road. At 35-40, it's not bad. I bottomed out this morning (60ish mph). Not a good sound. (Stoopid heavy right foot!). Anyway, that got me thinking about a new pair of (at least) rear shocks.

Is replacing them as ez as it looks: one bolt at the top and one at the bottom?
