At the end of my little "speed curve testing road" (sway bar install thread), there's a light. If you don't catch it green, it's a two minute wait!! Yesterday I caught it yellow. There's a bump in the crossing road. At 35-40, it's not bad. I bottomed out this morning (60ish mph). Not a good sound. (Stoopid heavy right foot!). Anyway, that got me thinking about a new pair of (at least) rear shocks.

Is replacing them as ez as it looks: one bolt at the top and one at the bottom?
well, I haven't gotten the bilstiens yet, but im getting them soon for the fronts. the rears im going with stage 6 adjustable ones. I will be getting the front sway and bushings as well along with bwoody endlinks.

Hey I have a question, how do you put in SRT shocks, aren't they electronically controlled?

The first gen srt shocks are not electronic. So its just an easy swap over. Now if we are talking WK2 srt suspension into a non srt, things will become more complicated. The first thing I would do, is to make sure that the shocks will even bolt in. (Im assuming they will) Then you will need to swap suspension moduals and thats where it will get complicated.

Okay. Maybe ill let out a secret lol.....I was on a race team back in 2012 thru the middle of 2013. The team was called G2 racing. We where sponsored by G2 Automotive, a car dealership up in Hopkinsville Kentucky. While we raced drag, I myself ran in a couple of track days at road atlanta and mid ohio. But I tend to "come into" info on parts lol...

My mom raced grand touring cars, semi professionally in the '80's. She drives even crazier than I do but at the same time is more skilled. Lol I let her drive my x5 once while I was asleep and I woke up and she topped it out at 130 and told me it was too slow. Both my parents daily drive supercars and drive fast, but my Dad not as much as he used to anymore. Bro I never doubted you...

Lol girls can't race?! My mom is pretty awesome tho... Not sure exactly how fast she's been but wouldn't be surprised if it was past 200. Her personal daily driver car will do that...
