I do have experience in fiberglass yes. Cf is easier to work. The only real thing to r&d is the shape and size and routing of the tube. There will be no pratice run lol

To geg the shape right im using dryer ducting and expanding foam. Thats gonna be the only thing to pratice bro. My fiberglass experience is in body repair but i did do some small projects with it. Made a fiberglass mold for someone that wanted to do an airbox on his pick up. That was interesting and fun to do. This intake project will be much cleaner than that.

Well experience brings confidence bro. I wouldn't be as confident as i am if i didn't think i could successfully do a prototype on the first try. Dont worry bro. It will be good!

Do your parents still have a garage, or do they have a "parts depot"?

Lets just say both lol. Its a garage but it becomes my depot while i. Over seas lol. They both have their own cars but they dont park inside anyways. No room. Its all storage space for the go kart, lawn mower, snow thrower for the lawn mower. And benches that come out from spring to fall and boxes upon boxes of crap and then my stuff.

Try driving in michigan snow with a rwd on street tires. Tokyo drift anyone? Lol i had a road trip home that was like that. Last 200 miles was side ways the whole time. Literally the longest 17hrs ive ever driven. Normally that trip is 11hrs

hey Jeff,
how do you like the hypertech programmer? Any real noticeable gains?

Any downsides with it?

Its alright. It has canned tunes for it and it does help with acceleration and throttle response. Even can bump the top speed limiter to 255 effectively having no top speed limiter in the jeep. On mine the theoretical top speed is 196mph but it will never reach it.

Only real down side is it cant remeove torque management and you cant load custom tunes.

Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

What did you change with it?
Just browsing through the options and not too sure of what each options does.

I'm planning to run either the reg /prem tune and maybe recal the tire sizes and the fan temp
What temp for the fan did you set at?
Doubt i'll mess with the top speed/limiter

Does the hypertech allow you to change shifts points?
