Re: Project "Six Shooter" Build Thread

just over a week now! and im clearing! so far I got most of the way thru clearing post, then gotta clear the unit. silly half day schedule thru the holidays didn't help and getting my orders extremely late really didn't help.

what I got done today...
-setup my flight to Nashville, I have to come out of pocket to get to Michigan from there
-went to the out processing brief
-picked up my clearing papers
-picked up my PSC award, got a AAM
-picked up my unit clearing papers
-setup my appointment for hhg's to be picked up (20150106)
-cleared the post exchange
-cleared the library
-cleared ACS
-cleared transportation office
-cleared DBIDS/Vehicle registration
-cleared ration control.

im already pre-cleared a bunch of items so that helps. don't have to worry about it

for post clearing stuff I still have...

-finance brief
-property book officer
-asap
-social services
-dental/medical
-Tricare
-housing
-and final out

unit clearing will take less the a day! and ill be on a plane the 9th coming home, that's a great b-day present lol

Well the way im playin the hand given looks like im going for a royal flush lol. Im in "emergency action mode" right now becausr of how little time i have to clear. A lot of things i should have had done 21 days out from my DEROS date but i couldn't do nothing without orders...which i got a few days ago. So for it being half days plus a 4 day weekend basically left me less then 6 days to do 21 days of stuff. (Even tho they allow 10 days to actually clear, some things needed to be setup further out) but most of the big stuff is done so im good there. Looks like it will be easy going from here on out guys.

Ill keep y'all up to date with progress.

Well. Its the final stretch of my tour here in the ROK. One last working day left, just a small handful of tasks to complete. Once these are done its just a plane ride to the states. If tomorrow goes as planned i will be in Nashville the evening of the 9th.

All thats left is for me to do...
-pick up medical records
-clear S1
-final out process... Basically my big ole stamp of approval.

Thursday.... absolutely nothing to do.

Friday, wake up in the morning. Sign out on leave. Make a bee line to Incheon international to check in by 1030 am. Flight takes off around 1330ish. Make 2 stops along the way. One in japan the other in dallas.

Almost there guys. Almost. I can already feel my stress levels dropping and my mood really has improved!

Good stuff jeff! Can't wait for you to get back to your baby! Appreciate everything you do, you really are the man! And to give all the advise to all of us while overseas dealing with a ton of shit is impressive.
