Projector or Reflector Headlights??

Seeing that most vehicles on the road today, especially european cars have gone the way of the projector type headlight light, rather than the reflector type does anyone have a personal opinion on which is better. I'm considering swapping out my factory headlights for the Halo/Projector type, and then beefing them up with a few 6K's from tony.. I wonder if its worth the dough. Is there a HUGE difference or is it just for looks...

Re: Projector or Reflector Headlights??

PROJECTORS
Nice clean looking light from projectors. The only thing is I don't like the 3led lights or the halos on the aftermarket projector lights. IMO

Re: Projector or Reflector Headlights??

I love the projectors. They look very clean and the cut offs help concentrate the light and make it easier for you to adjust them while not blinding people. I the one gen3, they have halos and leds but they arent that crazy and I love them.

Re: Projector or Reflector Headlights??

Get the projectors. You'll love them and never go back to reflector after having them. I know I wont.

Re: Projector or Reflector Headlights??

I found a set on flebay that utilize all factory lighting ie; running lights, side markers and turn signals all in the same format that stock headlights have them in..
...i have to agree with you guys.. not crazy about the leds but the benefit of the projectors outways my concern for the leds...

---------- Post added at 06:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:55 AM ----------

Not sure if anyone has seen these, but i was stoked when i found them.. I purchased a set of HALO / Projector fogs for my WJ.. I cant wait to get them in.. I want to place an order with Tony for my lows and fogs, but these projector fogs use a different bulb than the stock fogs do, so i have to wait to place my order

Re: Projector or Reflector Headlights??

Yes def a sick cut-off with projectors. My GF car has them with adaptive lighting. My reflectors are brighter than her oem projectors.

Re: Projector or Reflector Headlights??

I love my projector hid's. I dont think i would be able to go back to regular housings. I am in a stupid rental car(avenger) and the lighting is terrible.

dont have to wait to place an order, go order the 9006 bulbs for the lows and the H10 for the fogs. For the leds on the projectors, you can choose not to hook it up by just cutting the wires.

Hope you went with the Gen3 projectors........

Re: Projector or Reflector Headlights??

gotta agree with hannes and Mon, get the gen threes, dont hook up the leds and get a 5000k 9006 bulb.. adjust them against a flat wall and you'll be so glad you got them and wonder what too so long. i love my gen 3s!!
