Put off buying tires again....

and now 18in of snow and my bald 235's. The Revo's are out of my price range now so I might have to go with something cheaper since it doesnt look like I can wait for spring now.

I have access to a 04' WJ limited so I might be using that instead. I got stuck in the snow last month when we got 20in in my WK with Quadratrac 2 due to the crappy tires.

Re: Put off buying tires again....

I've run these Yokos on Cherokees in the past and they aren't a bad AT for the price. A little less than the Revos and just might be within your price range.

Re: Put off buying tires again....

call around to your local shops. sometimes customers return tires because of noise, ride quality, etc and you can pick them up real cheap. a couple of years ago my wife picked up some firestone destination a/t for her jeep. they had about 100 miles on them. they were $90 installed for all 4.

Re: Put off buying tires again....

Try to get the General Grabber2's. These are some of the best tires I've ever had and they are pretty reasonable price wise. Good luck and above all be safe..

Re: Put off buying tires again....

Bro I wouldnt put off buying tires especially if the ones you have are bald. Not only are you putting yourself at risk, you're putting everyone else on the road at risk.

But try to drive the WJ in the mean time until you get the money saved up.

Re: Put off buying tires again....

go to a local tire place for some off brands. like here we have BigO they have their own brand of tire. its relatively cheaper than a name brand and most likely made by them too.

riding 'baldy' is just not cool.......
